Chris Galvan is a national expert on comic books and the comic book industry. He has been reading and collecting comic books of all types and genres for over 40 years, and has spent time in many different areas of the comic industry, including being a convention vendor, writing reviews about comics, doing convention press coverage, and even running his own comic book/toy show for a short period in the 1990’s. Chris even gained retail experience when he worked at a comic book store for about 20 minutes, but you can ask him for those details.
Chris is a former comic book reviewer and writer for Comics Buyer’s Guide Magazine, where he wrote dozens of reviews, convention reports, and even had the opportunity to write one issue’s cover article, when he interviewed a team of indie creators on the premier of their mini-series event. He also did panel presentations at a convention for three years on helping parents find appropriate “kid-friendly” comic book stores, as well as all-ages comics that help kids learn to read, and enhance the reading and writing skills they already have.
I haven't posted anything on this blog for over three years, but now I'm back.
